Analytics
Knoku analytics turns sessions into a doc roadmap: where users come from, which answers worked, what questions keep repeating, and which sources were cited.
Open Project > Analytics.
Analytics views
| View | Use it for | More |
|---|---|---|
| Summary | Message volume, sessions, deflection, helpful rate, and channel mix | This page |
| Traffic | Country and city distribution when geographic collection is enabled | Traffic |
| Deflection | Answered vs needs-support outcomes and support form saves | Deflection |
| Questions | Coverage gaps and frequent question clusters | Questions |
| Sources | Documents that were cited, and documents that were not used | Sources cited |
The period selector applies to every view. Use a longer period when a project has low traffic so clusters and rates have enough volume.
Summary
The Summary view gives you the operating picture for the selected period:
- Total sessions and messages
- Deflection rate when turns have intent tags
- Helpful rate on Business and above, based on widget feedback
- Channel breakdown by surface
- Shortcuts into Sessions with filters already applied
Use Summary first, then drill into the view that explains the number.
Drill into sessions
Most cards link to Sessions. For example, a needs-support card opens the matching sessions so you can read the exact questions, citations, and assistant replies behind the metric.
This is the fastest way to decide whether a problem is missing content, stale content, poor source grouping, or a question that should go to support.
Export and sync
Business and above can export deflection metrics from the Deflection view.
For full conversation sync, use the Public API from a trusted backend and paginate /v1/conversations and /v1/messages.
Weekly digest
Business and above can enable a weekly email digest from Settings (Weekly digest card). The digest summarizes usage, top questions, coverage gaps, and plan usage for workspace admins.
