Zendesk Help Center sync indexes Help Center articles that match your sync filters.

Use it when your public support articles should answer in the widget, bots, MCP, or API.

This is separate from Zendesk agent tooling. Help Center sync indexes articles as source documents.

Connect Zendesk Help Center

  1. Open Project -> Settings -> Integrations -> Zendesk Help Center.
  2. Enter the Zendesk subdomain and credentials.
  3. Open the Help Center source on Project -> Sources and set filters (categories, sections, keywords).
  4. Save the filter to start indexing.

Matched articles appear in Documents with source type zendesk_article.

Filters

Use category, section, and keyword filters to keep the imported article set focused.

Restricted Zendesk articles should remain Internal.

Visibility

Public Help Center articles usually belong in Public. Restricted articles should stay Internal.

Review filters before enabling visitor-facing integrations.

Sync behavior

Use Re-index after changing filters. Background sync keeps matched articles current.

Plan

Zendesk Help Center sync requires Business or above.
