Jira
Jira sync turns selected issues into searchable knowledge.
Use it for known issues, workarounds, escalation notes, and resolved support tickets that help teams answer repeat questions.
Connect Jira
- Open Project -> Settings -> Integrations -> Jira.
- Complete the Atlassian OAuth flow.
- Choose the Jira project and filters.
- Sync.
Indexed issues appear on Project -> Sources and in Documents with source type jira_issue.
What to index
Prefer issues that contain reusable knowledge:
- Resolved incidents
- Known workarounds
- Publicly documented limitations
- Repeated support answers
Avoid noisy backlog items and internal planning tickets that do not help answer user questions.
Visibility
Jira issues default to Internal. Do not expose Jira content to the public widget unless the issue and citation link are safe for visitors.
Sync behavior
Use Re-index after changing filters. Background sync keeps selected issues current.
