Sessions
Sessions are the conversation records behind every integration: widget, support form deflector, Slack, Discord, and Public API.
Open Project > Sessions.
List view
Use the list view to scan:
- Channel, such as widget, Slack, Discord, deflector, or Public API
- Intent tag, when classified
- Time, first message, and latest activity
- Geographic hint for eligible browser/API sessions when enabled
Filter by channel, intent, and date. Analytics cards often open this page with the relevant filter already applied.
Detail view
Open a session to review:
- User and assistant messages
- Citations used by each assistant turn
- Feedback when the user rated an answer
Use the detail view before editing docs. It shows whether Knoku missed the source, retrieved the wrong source, or answered correctly but the user still needed help.
Deflector button outcomes (resolved vs continued to support) appear in Deflection analytics, not in the session detail view.
Geographic data
Widget and Public API sessions can include country or city fields when geographic precision is enabled.
Slack and Discord sessions do not include end-user geo because messages arrive through Knoku’s bot infrastructure.
