Sources cited
Sources cited shows which indexed documents appear in answers during the selected period.
Open Project > Analytics > Sources.
What you see
For each document, Knoku shows how often it was cited and how much of the answer load it carried.
Use this view to find:
- Pages that answer a large share of questions
- Pages that are rarely cited
- Pages that are indexed but not being retrieved
- Source groups that may be too broad or too restricted
Unused documents are not always bad. They may be reference material, niche content, or pages for a workflow users rarely ask about. Investigate before deleting.
Common fixes
| Signal | Possible fix |
|---|---|
| Important page is never cited | Improve title, headings, and surrounding context |
| Private content appears only in team tools | Confirm it belongs to the Internal group |
| Public widget misses a page | Confirm the document is in the Public group |
| Old pages keep answering | Recrawl, resync, or delete stale source content |
Open the document
Use Documents to inspect a cited item, deactivate it, adjust source groups, or rerun the source that owns it.
